Terms of use
The terms you agree to by using MuseBud during the private beta.
Last updated: September 20, 2026
Thanks for trying MuseBud. We build it to help you understand your own listening and do something useful with it. Because we can't get to know everyone who uses it personally, we need some terms to keep things fair and clear for everyone.
MuseBud is provided by Onesoftware OÜ, Järvevana tee 9, Tallinn, 11314, Estonia ("we", "us"). These terms cover the MuseBud iOS app, the private beta programme, and this website, including its request and contact forms (together, "the service"). "You" means the person using them.
The beta
MuseBud is a private beta. Features can change, break or disappear with little or no notice, and the service may go down while we fix something. We'll do our best to keep things working and to tell you about changes that matter, but a beta is, by nature, a work in progress. If something breaks or feels wrong, we genuinely want to hear about it — that's most of the point.
The beta is free. An invitation is personal to you, doesn't guarantee continued access, and we may limit or end beta access as we test capacity and safety. Before we ever charge for any part of MuseBud, we'll show you the price and updated terms and ask you to accept them.
During the beta, we read conversations. Our team reads conversations with MuseBud to find out where it's wrong or unhelpful and to improve it. The "Help improve MuseBud" switch in the app is on for every beta tester and can't be turned off. The Privacy policy explains what that covers.
When the beta ends, or if MuseBud shuts down, we delete tester data within 30 days unless you've joined the next version.
Who can use MuseBud
You must be 16 or older, and a person — accounts created by bots or other automated means aren't allowed. Using MuseBud requires an Apple Music subscription.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping the Apple or Google account and the device you sign in with secure, and for what happens under your MuseBud account. We can't be responsible for loss caused by someone else getting into your account because those weren't kept secure.
Using MuseBud
We give you a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use MuseBud during the beta. MuseBud and the service — the app, the backend, the brand — are ours. Your use of the app downloaded from the App Store is also covered by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
You may not use MuseBud to do anything illegal, to harass or harm anyone, to send us content you have no right to, or to disrupt, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.
Your content
What you send to MuseBud stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it as needed to provide, secure, support and improve MuseBud, as the Privacy policy describes, and to comply with the law. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve MuseBud without restriction or payment; we won't name you publicly unless you agree.
MuseBud can be wrong
MuseBud's answers, statistics, recommendations and playlists can be incomplete or mistaken. Use your judgement, and check anything that matters before relying on it. We don't guarantee that a recommendation will suit you, or that concert, ticket or catalogue information from third parties stays accurate or available.
Apple Music and other services
MuseBud depends on Apple Music, Sign in with Apple or Google, OpenAI, and other third-party services and content, each under its own terms. They can change or become unavailable, and when they do, parts of MuseBud may stop working. MuseBud is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple.
Privacy
Our Privacy policy explains what personal data we process, why, who else is involved, and your choices. Please read it before using MuseBud.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Data Controls → Delete Account. That's permanent — the Privacy policy says exactly what's deleted and when. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or is used abusively. Sections about your content, MuseBud's limitations, liability and these general terms keep applying after an account ends.
Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, MuseBud. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by agreement. Using MuseBud during a beta means placing some trust in a small team doing its best — we take that seriously, and we'll keep earning it.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change we update the date at the top. For changes that materially affect you, we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect, unless a change is needed at once for security or legal reasons.
